Festivals in September in and Around London.

Festival FOMO? After a summer packed full of (some) sunshine, post work drinks, leaving do’s, non stop weddings and spontaneous trips to Central, involving overpriced beers and underpriced Uber trips, there’s barely been time to fit in buying dry shampoo let alone hit up a festival. Fear not, as festivals are happenin’ in September near London and tickets are still available. Fweuf.

september festival
One Love Festival is inspired by Bob Marley and his message to the world “One Love, One Heart” it has been happening for the past ten years. It is home to some of the best Reggae and Ska to ever grace the scene. This years line-up sounds pretty awesome, with the likes of; Derrick Morgan, U Roy, Horrace Andy and Janet Kay taking to the stage in Tunbridge Wells, Kent 1st- 3rd September. If you want to see the full festival line up you can access it †here. Apparently One Love was voted one of the top three UK festivals, don’t miss out.

ABODE in The Park Saturday 24th September 2017 Finsbury Park

ABODE is a pretty big thing. Last years event was a huge sell out at the Tobacco Dock and Print work. The legendary London party is setting up camp at Finsbury Park for 2017. Tickets are £42 for the day, or go VIP for £50, which gets you posh toilets , an extra bar, free fast track entry and a chill out area. Prepare yourself for funfare rides , lots of artists and a great fun filled festival vibe.

funfairThis years festival is set to be shit hot with five stages hosted by Abode, Do No Sleep, Sankeys and apparently another secret host. Intriguing. These guys are being supported by over 25 DJ’s (and no, that’s not an artists name) bringing beats from house and tech house.

Wilstock Festival† Friday 1st- Sunday 3rd September 2017 Frogmore Hill, Stevenage

Tickets: £75 All profits for charity.

For the last ten years Wilstock Festival has been home to some emerging UK talent and awesome festival vibes whilst donating all profits to charity. Just 30 mins from London in the Hertfordshire Countryside you can find Wilstock, run by volunteers set up purely to donate proceeds to those in need. There’s no excuse not to go? Listen to live music and save lives? Bandaid Who? This years line up includes Razorlight, Carl Barat , Vant, The Sherlocks and shit loads more… Sounds like a festival winner to us.

Boundary Brighton Saturday 30th September Stammer Park

Tickets : £20

Boundary Festival is back for round two, after its massively successful first festival in 2016. This years line up includes no other than the incredible Chase and Status, MK, Hannah Wants and loads more. Hosted over three stages, there’s a vintage fair as well as some delicious food. Yum. Why not make a weekend of it and head to the beach on the Sunday? No better way to spend a hangover. Unless it’s raining. Then you’re fucked.
