London’s Best Halloween Events 2018

It’s that time of year again: shops are starting to sell Christmas decorations which can only mean one thing… it’s nearly Halloween! If you’ve got your costume all sorted but you’re still unsure on where to go, then we’ve got you covered with some of the best lesbian (and non lesbian) focused halloween events in London town. Fèmmme Fraîche Femmme Fraiche poster One of our favourite nights is getting spooky in what they’re calling the Haunting Halloween Howler. Resident DJs Michelle Manetti and Sandra Le and local favourites Ella Hagi, Darren Skene and Linzi Symons play alongside special guest CCL from Seattle. It looks set to be a great one. They say: “Expect the usual kitsch-as-tits, mish-mash, melting-pot, of your party faves, plus thriller thrown in a few times for good measure!” When? Saturday 27th October Where? DJs including Kat Hudson and ARTSCHOOL London, performers, video installations and a photographer capturing the best dressed should make for a pretty awesome evening. They say: “The launch of a new night celebrating the finest of London’s Queer counter-culture.” When? Friday 26th October Where? The Yard Theatre, Unit 2A,  Queen’s Yard, London E9 5EN How much? £7 Tickets here.   Cybil’s Halloween House 3 Cybil's Halloween House 3 Get in quick if you fancy this one as it’s nearly sold out. Hosted by Cybil War, there will be three ‘rooms of terror’ filled with drag and dancing. DJing from Vivien Mobile Disco and more, and performances include Mary Poppers and Tracy Barlow. They say: “We’re BACK with our biggest and most ambitious Halloween House of Horror yet!” When? Saturday 27th October Where? The White Swan, 556 Commercial Road,  London E14 7JD How much? Only queue jump tickets left, so £10 Tickets here.   Mint Halloween Party mint halloween lesbian party 2018 Mint is one of the biggest Lesbian event organisers in London, and their parties are always killer (pun intended) – Halloween is what they do best every year so don’t miss out on this one!  They say: “Mint is taking over SAMA on Saturday Oct. 27thfor one hell of a party.” When? Saturday 27th October Where? SAMA Bankside, 3 Robinson Road, London SE1 8BU How much? £10-£15 Tickets here.   The Monster Bash: A Halloween Rave The Monster Bash This one looks like the sleekest of the lot… two rooms of music, a dungeon with live actors and a shop for those who haven’t had time to sort out their attire. With music from DJs including The Menedez Brothers, Matt Bogard and Massimo Paramour, you’re sure to have a good time. Oh, and it goes until 6am. They say: “We’ll be taking it back to the golden years of clubbing with OTT production, glamorous ghoulish hosts and performances that’ll leave you gasping for air.” When? Friday 26th October Where? Pulse, 1 Invicta Plaza,  London SE1 9UF How much? £5-£20 Tickets here.   And if you’re looking for something a bit different, then you should head to: Planes and Perverts: Halloween Edition Planes and Perverts Among other things you can expect informative theatre, a Theresa May dance class, legendary drag, sexi burlesque and live bands and DJs. Make sure you check out the comedy and spoken word from the hilarious and important Kemah Bob (we’ve seen her and she’s good). It’s for a good cause too: hosted by Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants, money goes towards covering the expenses of the people on trial for grounding a deportation charter flight last year. They say: “Most importantly, grab ya gogo juice because we will be dancing to disco, techno and house until MF 3am.” When? Saturday 27th October Where?
