London restaurant at home meal kits

burger

Not sure about you but we’re really starting to crave restaurant-quality food. Cooking in lockdown can quickly become repetitive and dull and London is inundated with incredible restaurants offering DIY, at home meal kits to get your mitts on, so, why not treat yourself from time to time?

Arabica

This middle-eastern restaurant in London Bridge is bringing tasty tagines and mezes to your door.

Choose from 11 meals (some may change from month to month so there is always something different). Meal kits are for up to 4 people, prices range from £20 to £50. They even include an Arabica playlist for your dining at home experience.

Delivery is nationwide every Tuesday and Friday.

The Tramshed Project

This London eatery and co-working space, of course, had to close for lockdown but it is bringing you their streetfood-inspired feasts to your door.

All meals are for 2 people, with both vegan and meat kits on offer from £28 to £80. We went for the Herb Fed Chicken Feast for Two without a drink it will cost £27.50 per person. You get a lot for your money, including a main, 2 sides and a dessert.

If all that isn’t enough you can order some sides. And of course booze!

Delivers to mainland UK and delivery is included in the price of the home meal kit.

Vurger Co.

Everything is vegan and ethically sourced and produced. You can get their burger and bun for two and either treat yourself to two burgers or maybe give one to your girlfriend.

For your money, you will get 2 x beyond burger patties, 2 x brioche vegan bun, 2 x vegan cheese slices, lettuce, gherkins, tomato, burger sauce bottle (mmm yum), and a portion of skin-on fries.

If you want something on the side or just fancy a shit load of pasta and cheese you can also get a Mac’n’Cheesy meal with gluten-free pasta.

Deliveries are on Fridays only and they deliver nationwide.

Dishoom

If you are bored of eggs and porridge for breakfast then why not get a bacon naan or a vegan sausage naan from Dishoom.

You can get the South Indian food without having to get up mega early and doing the usual queuing. What a win. Perhaps cook and eat in your pyjamas (because we all love to stay in our pyjamas these days!)

For every at-home meal kit bought, Dishoom donates to Magic Breakfast which is a charity that provides free school meals.

If you fancy a little tipple you can get the selection box which includes the Permit Room Old-Fashioned, Sonia’s Negroni, and the India Gimlet.

Delivery is available any day of the week and includes most of the UK mainland with some exclusions in Scotland due to transit time.

Blacklock

If you like your meat and if you like your Sunday roasts then this is worth the money!

We would recommend the Lamb Sunday Roast for two for a mouth-watering dining experience. What is included for £56? A lot. Here is the breakdown;

Another restaurant feeling the strain of lockdown, these guys are keeping it simple by creating five classic meal kits (including a vegan one).

All their frying pan pizza kits make two pizzas and range from £14.50 to £18.50. Get a few extras though like their Nutella ring (basically a stuffed crust with Nutella inside) and make the cost over £25 and get free delivery.

Darbys

Darby’s like to switch things up with their dishes, changing every week so what we say here might not necessarily be true when you look. They also run out of stock so get them while they’re hot.

When we looked they were doing Darby’s Dine in For Two: Cornish Fish Supper £65.50, showing their support for the fishing communities by, ‘showcasing the best that our Cornish seas have to offer.’
