False Idols returns to DRUMSHEDS for a second edition!

The vastness of London’s megaclub DRUMSHEDS is about to be flooded once more with queer hedonism. The iconic False Idols is back on the 13th April for its second wave. With headliners Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Bimini, horsegiirL, Hannah Diamond, Derrick Carter, BASHKKA, Princess Superstar and many more, this party boasts a genre-bending array of artists, seeking to elevate the dancefloor to a realm of collective consciousness and rebellious joy. Rally the girls and get ready.

With the success of their debut party earning them a Radio 1 Dance ‘Best UK Clubbing Event’ nomination, round two is set to be a glimpse of some kind of queer utopia. Split into three expansive rooms, X (The Temple), Y (The Oracle) and Z (Fools Gold), the electric bass will be bouncing through the cavernous dancefloors, reimagined from what was once Tottenham’s IKEA and has a max capacity of 15,000.

After a cult revival thanks to Saltburn, Sophie-Ellis Bextor is bound to cause such murder(ous revelry) on the dancefloor! Alongside Princess Superstar and Sonique, we’re promised all the devilishly infectious 2000s dance mixes that one could wish for. Drag Race UK icon Bimini will for sure be serving some punky pop and sickening looks, and the powerhouse behind the viral ‘My Barn, My Rules’ – horsegiirL – will bring us ecstatic silliness with her happy hardcore techno.

Derrick Carter, the Chicago legend currently renowned as one of the best DJ’s in underground house, is guaranteed to bring a flawless set. As is Berghain frequent, BASHKKA, with her high-octane electronica, as well as the hard house extraordinaire ABSOLUTE and CC:DISCO. Also promising a good time are Cormac, Roi Perez, FAFF, Planningtorock and many more.

With several London queer rave collectives being represented including Pxssy Palace, Adonis residents J.Arla and Hannah Holland and Queer House Party co-founder Harry Gay, the intensity of queer solidarity and transcendent dance will be unmatched.

From the minds at Broadwick Live (responsible for Field Day and Printworks) and Little Gay Brother (behind some of the UK’s biggest queer festivals, Body Movements and Feel It), this is truly a night not to be missed.

We’re so excited for this one. Get your tix here.

Enjoy, we might see you there!
