You might have watched Love Lies Bleeding and thought, a) ‘WTF happened at the end there?’ and b) ‘Where can I watch the next queer film?’ Well, there’s one out there as of the 6th June the comedy-drama “Am I Ok?” film stars Dakota Johnson whose character is called Lucy, a young woman grappling with anxiety and self-doubt…rooted in her questioning her own sexuality.

“Am I OK?” centres on Lucy, played by Dakota Johnson, a woman in her early thirties who is just beginning to understand her own sexuality. Despite appearing to have it all together, Lucy is grappling with a significant internal struggle—her realisation and acceptance of being gay. The film captures Lucy’s journey as she navigates the complexities of coming out later in life, with the unwavering support of her best friend, Jane (portrayed by Sonoya Mizuno).
