The Lesbian Bar Project Season Two Screening in London

The Lesbian Bar Project, an Emmy & GLAAD Media Award-winning docuseries, is back with season two, and they are hosting an exclusive screening in London that you don’t want to miss. You may have read our earlier article on The Lesbian Bar Project, or maybe you’ve come across it on social media, or perhaps you caught season one. Well, the team behind the project have headed to London to showcase season two of this docuseries on May 15th. Awoohoo.

The Lesbian Bar Project Season Two

In Season 2, titled “The Lesbian Bar Project: FLINTA,” they delve into the triumphant stories of the FLINTA communities in Cologne & Berlin. It’s a glimpse into the future of queer culture globally, showcasing the resilience and evolution of the community. Even as Lesbian Bars are disappearing in Germany, a vibrant FLINTA movement is on the rise.

Featuring interviews with key figures such as Boize Bar owner Payman Neziri, comedian Ricarda Hofmann, human rights activist Anbid Zaman, politician Tessa Ganserer, and party collectives Bebex and Girls Town.

The London Screening

The event is taking place on the 15th May 2024 at The Ritzy, Brixton Oval, SW2 1JG. It will be hosted by director and actor Desiree Akhavan, with a Q&A session featuring Payman Neziri, Fraence Grethe, and creators/directors Erica Rose and Elina Street.
