Weekend adventures await, pack your partner & your pooch, as we have some incredible weekend away with the dog options for you. Cat mums? Don’t worry, we’ve also included a weekend break idea without said dog child too.
We are part way through the year, the first year for a while which resembles the seasons as they are meant to be – surrounded by our friends & family! Either with a scarf & hat, or without!
We’ve previously released an article on the up and coming prides events across the country with an array of incredible Hilton hotels for you to consider as a place to nurse your hangovers. However, life isn’t always one big party! Sometimes we need to switch off, unwind, recharge and reset. So as normality continues to dominate our weeks, and with holidays returning to peoples calendars without it feeling like you’re edging your bets on a 2/1 chance of cancellation. It’s the right time to whisk off your partner and get exploring what our cities have to offer. For those of you who are pawrents, you’ll be over the moon to learn that most Hiltons cater for your furbabys! They truly get us. What legends.
We are quite passionate about Hilton’s Pride 365 accreditation, their inclusive promise to enhance their customers experience, which is why we recommend their hotels. Your other half will be mighty impressed when you turn up at your chosen location and no one judges you for wearing matching outfits, you, them and your dog. You’ll just be known as the glam fam. No doubt you are intrigued about their mission, make sure you read about the Hilton’s Pride 365 accreditation here.
If you are after some inspo for your couples weekend away with the dog, keep reading. We have got you covered hun. But, before you read ahead, some of our content is sponsored, however we only work with the very best brands who we love, have checked out, and highly recommend. As you were babe.
Hilton Bournemouth
While the sun is shining why not head south and try out this hotel, minutes from the beach and with its own wellness spa & inside pool it’s a great way to kick back and relax. Your dog will be elated that they are included in your cheeky little beach trip! It’s perfectly positioned to explore the jurassic coast and moments from sand banks near Poole. Plus, you could take all your paws inland for a roam around the New Forest.
Hilton Manchester Deansgate
Manchester is well known for its football, with two huge clubs locally, both of which are supporting the Women’s Euros this year (whoop). Why not head to the opening game on 6th July as the Lionesses kick off the tournament at Old Trafford. You can then soak in the cities vibes post spa & swim as Deansgate is in the heart of the action! Moments from Canal Street and minutes from Manchesters vast array of shops and bars! We really recommend the Northern Quarter to sample some cocktails after a relaxing nights sleep. Sadly Deansgate isn’t pet friendly, but try not to worry – you’d only panic the fluffy little darling as you scream at the lionesses for a win anyway.
Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian
This 5 star hotel looks absolutely divine, and dogs are allowed on request. Be warned though, it’s the type of place that you’ll want to buy your dog a dressing gown and slippers for! The Waldorf has a beautiful court yard where you can be reunited after you’ve spoilt your partner with a morning in the spa that has a treatments list as long as a wine list at an Italian restaurant. What’s not to love? It’s incredible! Edinburgh is a beautiful part of the world too, plenty to explore and some perfectly large green spaces for the little one to believe the holiday is all about them!
Hilton Liverpool City Centre
Perhaps you are a music lover and fancy heading to Liverpool to take in the history of the city. This Hilton doesn’t have a pool but you can work off your intake of food & drink in their gym before exploring what the city has to offer. You’ll be pleased to know that your dog can also pack their best lead & ball for this get away too! Careful though – you might never have to leave them again and it won’t be long before they start expecting to be taken overseas and demand you request the family room! Book in at Hilton Liverpool City Centre here.
Hilton Cambridge City Centre
If you haven’t been to this city, it’s an absolute must. Surrounded by stunning buildings and with the river Cam running through the historic town it’s the perfect place to get lost in romance. Hilton Cambridge City Centre is ideally placed for you to explore the beauty of Cambridge. Once again, Hilton has allowed you to bring your pooch, you can even get pet bowls and beds on request. While you are here we can highly recommend taking a punt up the river, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy a Pimms and get lost in the happiness of life.
We hope you enjoy and do comment below if you take our advice on one of these trips.
